Dr. Nawfal Al-Hashimi

Dr. Nawfal Al-Hashimi is an accomplished Endodontics Specialist with over 20 years of experience in general dentistry and more than 15 years in specialized endodontic practice. He holds an extensive array of qualifications, including a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Manitoba and a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Evolution from the University of Rene Descartes, France.

Dr. Al-Hashimi’s expertise encompasses advanced endodontic procedures such as retreatment, perforation repair, and apical surgery. He is recognized for his exceptional clinical skills and his ability to manage complex cases, providing high-quality care and achieving excellent patient outcomes. His outstanding communication abilities foster effective relationships with patients and colleagues alike.

Fluent in Arabic, English, and French, with a beginner’s proficiency in Spanish, Dr. Al-Hashimi is dedicated to continuous learning and professional development, evidenced by numerous awards and publications in reputable scientific journals.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Al-Hashimi is a devoted father of three. In his free time, he enjoys spending quality moments with his family and indulging in his favorite sport, squash.

Dr. Michael Tiedemann

Dr. Michael Tiedemann was born and raised in Sudbury, Ontario. He completed both his BSc and PhD in Chemistry at Western University, where he later earned his dental degree in 2017. During dental school, he served as class president and received the Endodontic Award.

Following graduation, Michael practiced general dentistry privately in Hamilton and Grimsby, Ontario, for three years before returning to academia to pursue specialty training in Endodontics at the University of Toronto. He earned his MSc in Endodontics and obtained Fellowship status with the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in 2022.

When not in the office, Michael is a self-described nerd; he enjoys tabletop miniature gaming, brewing his own beer, and cycling—whether on his Peloton, road bike, or mountain bike. He also recently ended a three-year fishing drought in Restoule, Ontario, landing a few keeper bass while only sacrificing a single lure in the process.

Dr. Noah Gasner

Dr. Noah Gasner completed a Bachelor of Science at York University before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry. He subsequently completed specialty training in Endodontics at the University of Toronto, where he was also involved in teaching and mentoring dental students in the undergraduate endodontics program.

Dr. Gasner’s interests include clinical endodontics, endodontic education, and the integration of digital technologies into dental training. His research has focused on evaluating innovative methods for teaching technical endodontic skills to dental students. He has contributed to peer-reviewed publications in endodontics and periodontology and has received several academic awards recognizing his academic achievement and leadership.

Dr. Gasner is committed to providing evidence-based, patient-centered care and strives to ensure that every patient feels comfortable, informed, and confident throughout their treatment.
